On Christmas Eve 2021, the Sasek Zarephath Foundation embraced the early light of the morning, embarking on a heartwarming mission that extended well into the evening. Our dedicated volunteers, armed with carols and sacks of food, surprised widows across different communities, turning the entire day into a celebration of love and generosity.

As the sun began to rise, our volunteers set out on a mission to illuminate the lives of widows in our midst. The air was filled with the melodies of Christmas carols as our singing troupe, adorned in festive attire, approached each home. The surprise visits were not just about delivering sacks of food; they were about enveloping these wonderful women in the warmth of community and reminding them that they are cherished and remembered.

Carrying these meaningful sacks filled with essential items, our volunteers shared the joy of the season, creating moments that echoed with laughter and gratitude throughout the day. The widows, initially taken by surprise, soon joined in the festivities, their homes resonating with the spirit of Christmas from morning till evening.
